Mr. Ambrish Bansal as Managing Director and Global Head of Product for Liquidity Solutions at Citigroup, drives business and product strategy for treasury management products designed for large, institutional clients. He is responsible for leading Innovation at Citi’s Wholesale transaction banking, Liquidity Management business. Prior to this, Mr. Bansal has served in various roles including Head of Market Management, where he led commercialization and marketing strategy for treasury management products. He has also led various digital payments initiatives for the North America market, spearheading product development and marketing. His experience includes Software as a Service (“SaaS”) models for financial and business workflow solutions. Mr. Bansal represents Citigroup in banking industry forums on various aspects of liquidity management, digital payments, and financial applications. Prior to Citigroup, Mr. Bansal worked for Oracle Corporation, where he led initiatives to advance the enterprise applications business, focusing on large scale B2B solutions. He has also served as a Scientist for the Defence Research and Development Organization (“DRDO”) in India helping with key defence technology programs and product development. Mr. Bansal holds a Master in Business Administration from The Johnson School at Cornell University in Ithaca, New York and Bachelor in Computer Science and Engineering from NIT Warangal.
